Spanish Civil Guard receives new Israeli-made “Ramon” pistols
According to Spanish media, the pistols will be integrated into service as soon as the acquired 9,000 items are available, and additional acquisitions might take place

The Spanish Civil Guard has begun the distribution of the new Ramon pistols, recently purchased from Israeli defense company Emtan. According to Spanish website Defensa.com, the pistols will be integrated into service as soon as the acquired 9,000 items are available. Additional acquisitions might take place.

In August 2021, Israel Defense reported that Emtan won a contract valued at about 2.5 million euros to supply 6,000 9x19mm Ramon pistols to the Spanish Civil Guard. Now it would appear, according to the report on the Spanish website, that the purchase is 3,000 items larger.
