SPACE - S0 - 20191017 - Earthquake, Storm Alert, Comet, Baby Planets
Good Morning, Observers!
Prominences on the NorthWest lim made a pretty picture, but solar activity was otherwise calm. Coronal hole hits midpoint running from just below the equator to near the South pole. Solar wind speed stayed at or near 450 KPS, so there was not a significant issue with geomagnetic influence, with the index staying in the KP-1 to KP-2 range. The solar electromagnetism seems to finally have had an effect on earthquakes, with a Mag 6.4 hitting the Philippines. It was a shallow quake (14 km), meaning greater surface damage.
