Good Morning, Observers!
The coronal hole in the North will magnetically connect to Earth this weekend. The same goes for the solar wind stream from the Southern coronal holes. Some Phi-angle instability over the last couple of hours suggest a magnetic shift, which may have a knock-on effect on earthquake activity. KP index is still in the KP-1 to KP-2 range. Solar wind speed has increased from yesterday, but only slightly. That will ramp up by Sunday night at the latest.
