SPACE - S0 - 20191015 - Quake Warning, Core Confusion, Cosmic Photobomb
Good Morning, Observers!
Not too much in the way of surface magnetism, no sunspots. An alert for the remainder of the week for quake action due to the calm effects. Phi-angle shifts were a bit wonky yesterday, and there was a slight uptick in solar wind speeds to around 350 KPS, but nothing serious. KP indexes remain relatively calm, between KP-1 and KP-2, so that at least reduces the risk of cosmic ray hits at ground level. There was a small "stealth" CME yesterday on the north-western lim, but it shot out into empty space away from Earth, so no issues there.
