SPACE - S0 - 20200704 - Major Flood, Planet Core, Solar Impact Zone Matters
Good Morning, 0bservers!
We saw a solar wind bump a couple hours ago due to a Phi Angle shift, but for the most part things have stayed pretty calm. Yesterday's high speed was just over 330 KPS (the same as the jump between 0200-0300) but for the most part it stayed in the 300-310 KPS range. The KP-Index has been pretty much a flat-line at KP-1 for the past 48 hour, so expect a Cosmic Ray Health Alert if this keeps up. Seeing some serious bright spots on the Eastern lim, but there's also a Southern bright spot of considerable size turning toward the midpoint. Still not seeing any sunspots or magnetic instabilities underneath them, though. Coming down to Earth, we had a Mag 5.1 off Puerto Rico followed by a Mag 5.4 about 7 hours later, a Mag 5.2 in the South Atlantic Ocean, a Mag 5.6 and 5.2 off the Solomon Islands, and a Mag 5.4 in Tajikistan.
