SPACE - S0 - 20200705 - Solar Activity, Climate Forcing, Earth's Magnetic Field

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Significant rise in solar wind speeds overnight, due to the coronal holes a few days ago. We were sticking close to 300 KPS yesterday morning, but it's gone up past 500 KPS since then. Particle density went up, then down a bit, and temperature levels jumped as well before leveling off. We're definitely out of the KP-Index doldrums, though, with readings up in the KP-3 range. The Northern coronal hole has passed as well as a few along the equator, with more developing. We're also seeing a LOT more brightness in those bright spots that turned in from the Southeast lim, but I'm still not seeing any underlying sunspots yet. Mostly quiet in the lithosphere, with a handful of blot echos and a Mag 5.1 South of the Aleutian Islands chain (closer to Alaska than Russia).
