SPACE - S0 - 20200602 - Volcano, Cyclone, Nova, Shape of the Universe

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Saw an uptick in the X-Ray Flux overnight as a new and active bright spot crossed the Southeast lim. No major flares, just increased into the Class B range both before and after midnight. We did see a rise in particle density yesterday, but a steady decrease in solar wind speeds. Yesterday's high of 400 KPS moved down and then took a sharp 40 KPS drop after midnight to the current 320-340 KPS range. The Phi Angle showed some instability in the solar magnetosphere, which coincides with the particle rise. The KP-Index stayed in the green range, with some KP-3 spikes overnight. Might see a KP-4 or two today, but the effects should be mild. The coronal hole extending from the North pole should get to the midpoint in the next 24 hours, and there are a few equatorials popping in and out of existence. Quite a bit of blot echo activity yesterday and this morning, but all under the Mag 5.0 range. Only one actual shallow quake in the South Atlantic, a deepwater Mag 5.0 about 1350 miles east of Argentina.
