Good Morning, 0bservers!
The Cosmic Ray Alert from yesterday continues, with KP-0s through most of the past 24 hours until they bumped up to KP-1 just before midnight. So, keep an eye on the health risks inherent during this period. Solar wind speeds remain low, staying in the 300-320 KPS range throughout the period. We did see a rise in both particle density and temperature, but it had no effect on speed at this stage. We're seeing a bit of magnetic instability in the Phi Angle, but it doesn't appear to be problematic. Another small/disorganized coronal hole passed the midpoint a few hours ago, but I don't see anything new on the surface in that regard. The Southern bright spot is almost at the Western lim now, with no new glow from the incoming East. The lithosphere was VERY busy since yesterday, starting with a strong Mag 5.9 in Turkey, a Mag 5.2 in India, a Mag 5.0 off Mauritius, a Mag 5.1 in India, a Mag 5.2 off Japan, a Mag 5.4 off the East Coast of Russia, a Mag 5.1 off the Solomons, and another Mag 5.4 back in the same spot in Turkey 20 hours later.
