SPACE - S0 - 20200617 - Sun-Diving Comet, PICASSO/ELFIN, Antares

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Saw a higher particle count in the solar winds yesterday, but it didn't translate into higher temperatures or greater speed. The winds did go up a bit, staying now in the 300-350 KPS range, and there was a detector spike in mid-evening. That spike seems to have been an anomaly, as the KP-Index got up off the floor and gave us some KP-2 action, ending the Cosmic Ray alert. There were a couple of X-Ray spikes in the mid-Class A range overnight, but I didn't see any flares or other action on the solar surface. Pretty open disc, actually. There are a few small coronal holes getting close to the midpoint, and a new  bright spot continues to roll in from the Eastern lim. Saw some temblor action yesterday, a 5.0 off Port-Vila Vanuatu, a Mag 5.3 about 50 miles SSE of Sharm el-Sheikh Egypt, and a Mag 5.1 at a point between South America, Africa and Antarctica (they should probably put a buoy there with a location sign that says "Middle of Nowhere").
