The effect of the previous coronal holes seems to have passed. Solar wind speed spiked to 480 KPS yesterday, but they're now hovering near 380 KPS, with particle density remaining steady. This is reflected in the KP Index, with KP-2s and KP-1s across the board, and the latest reading was KP-0. Don't expect that to last, however. The Southern coronal hole passed the meridian yesterday, so expect to see the effects starting as early as late tonight or during Wednesday. A few bright spots appearing on the solar surface, with a couple of very small "pops" which may have a slight CME effect, but that depends on strength and direction. Albania got banged with a Mag 6.4, about 20 KM deep, with aftershocks in the Mag 5+ range. At least 9 fatalities noted so far.
