SPACE - S0 - 20191127 - Space Weather, Records Fall, Galactic Magnetic Fields

Good Morning, Observers!

Some very pretty prominences on the South-East lim. Solar wind speed is around 390 KPS, so that coronal hole stream doesn't appear to have arrived yet. Particle density went up slightly overnight, which is usually a precursor to a wind speed bump. KP Indexes were low with KP-0s yesterday morning, and a steady set of KP-1s since then. The coronal hole which passed has pretty much broken up, but there are two more approaching in the lower Southern latitudes. A sprinkling of bright spots on the solar surface, with a particularly intense glow coming in from the Eastern lim just North of the equator. A deep Mag 6.0 hit Crete (65 KM), no reports of damage yet.
