SPACE - S0 - 20200404 - Climate Forcing, Cosmos, California Foreshock?

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Solar winds were a bit unstable yesterday and early this morning, but still in the medium speed range between 420-460 KPS, currently around 435 KPS. The Phi Angle chart is showing some magnetic instability, causing a brief spike before midnight on the KP-Index to KP-4 (minor storm). We also saw a spike on the X-Ray flux to the B-range, possibly due to the Northern bright spot crackling a little bit as it nears the midpoint of the disc. You can see it most clearly on the videos at 131Å and 171Å at SpaceWeatherNews.com (the blue video on the left and the yellow video on the far right near the top of the page). The lithosphere was a bit more active, with a Mag 5.4 in the South Sandwich Islands region, another Mag 5.4 just off the coast of Nikol'skoye Russia, and a Mag 5.3 about 70 miles ENE of Pangai Tonga. There was also a Mag 4.9 between Los Angeles and San Diego, so is that a harbinger of "the big one"? Hmmm...
