SPACE - S0 - 20200409 - ATLAS, Space Science Bombshells, Storm Alert
Good Morning, 0bservers!
The solar wind speed continued to rise through yesterday as the Phi Angle showed continued magnetic instability. Speeds peaked at just above KPS, but as the Phi Angle stabilized, the wind speed started to calm back down, with the last reading at around 410 KPS. The KP Index stayed in the KP-2 to KP-3 range all of yesterday, but started calming down after midnight with the last two readings at KP-1. There was a spike in the X-Ray flux a couple hours ago into the B-range, possibly due to a new bright spot that just passed the Southeast lim. A bit of crackling there, but I couldn't see a CME from it. As to the lithosphere, there was only mild blot echo activity in the past 24 hours, with no active temblors above Mag 5.0.

Haven't had a "special" video from Ben Davidson for a while. I guess that new addition to the family is really keeping daddy running. Anyway, enjoy "Gamma Bursts & Cosmic Jets | Collision or Acceleration?"
Enjoy!
