SPACE - S0 - 20200403 - Comet ATLAS, Conflict Coming, Dark Lies Matter
Good Morning, 0bservers!
Solar wind speeds stayed in the 450-400 KPS range most of yesterday, dropping overnight before growing again to 440 KPS and then a very sharp drop to 380 KPS. Current speed seems to be hovering around 400 KPS. The temperature had a similar rise then precipitous fall, while particle density remained relatively steady with a minor dip. Solar magnetic polarity stabilized yesterday, and the Phi Angle remains steady. The KP Index actually rose to KP-3 before midnight, but has dropped steadily since then, all remaining in the green range. The Electron Flux rose above the threshold yesterday mid-morning, but has returned to the normal range. Also, the X-Ray flux remains in the A-range, but it has been steadily calming. The Northern bright spot continues toward the midpoint, and should cross by tomorrow's report, but it still seems to be decaying without too much risk. Hopefully we'll see little to no activity from that bugger. No new coronal holes developing along the equator, but the polar hole to the South does have a segment creeping North, so we'll continue to monitor. The only quake of note was a Mag 5.2 off Nicaragua, but there did appear to be a slight increase in blot echo activity.
