SPACE - S0 - 20200405 - Big Storm, Electric Dust, Blast from the Past
Good Morning, 0bservers!
Solar wind speeds calmed down slightly from yesterday's high of 460 KPS, staying mostly in the 450-410 KPS range (currently around 415 KPS). There was a slight rise in particle density just after midnight, but it has calmed down since then (doesn't look like a coronal hit), and the temperature has remained pretty stable. The Phi Angle is still a bit on the wacky side, but it hasn't had a negative effect on the KP Index, with reading staying in the KP-0 through KP-2 range. The X-Ray flux has returned to the lower part of the A-range. Videos aren't up on the website or the app, so I can't tell you how the bright spot is doing, but it should be past the midpoint by now. Also, there was a new equatorial coronal hole developing yesterday, should reach the centerpoint by midweek. As to the lithosphere, only a smattering of blot echo activity in the past 24 hours.
