SPACE - S0 - 20200310 - Strange Star, Impactor Theory, Cosmic Nonsense

Good Morning, 0bservers!

We had a return of magnetic instability yesterday in the Phi-Angle, causing a slight rise in the solar wind speed to a peak of 380 KPS, but we're back down just under 340 KPS. Expect that to rise in the next 24-36 hours due to the incoming winds from the coronal holes over the weekend. As to the KP Index, it's remained calm for three days, staying in the KP-1 to KP-2 range, so there's very little risk of a Zero-Day situation for some time to come. There were some rather disorganized coronal hole patches crossing the centerpoint, so I'm unsure what impact (if any) they might pose by the weekend. However, the bright spot in the Southern latitudes is also approaching the meridian, and it looks a bit brighter and more active than it has since it crossed the lim a few days ago, so stay alert for that one. Very little lithospheric activity again, with a deep Mag 5.2 about 100 miles NNE of Micronesia, a Mag 5.0 off China, and another Mag 5.0 at the Central Mid-Atlantic Ridge.
