SPACE - S0 - 20200315 - The Next Big Cali Quake, Record Snow, Storm Alert, Humor

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Solar wind speeds have settled back down to the 340-360 KPS range, a steady slide from yesterday's high of 420 KPS. KP Index readings remained low, in the KP-1 to KP-0 range. A coronal hole developed in the North just as it passed the midpoint, but the hole was a bit disorganized and, dare I say? (Dare, DARE!) wimpy, so I doubt we'll see much from that. The new bright spot still hasn't crossed the terminator, so we won't get a look at its magnetic complexity until tomorrow sometime. A much calmer lithosphere to report today, with only a pair of Mag 5.0 temblors, one off the Philippines and the other off New Caledonia, with the usual scattering of blot echo activity.
