SPACE - S0 - 20200324 - Locusts, Galactic Sheet Triggers Cloud, Christmas Island

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Both the Phi-Angle and the solar wind speed seem to have stabilized, with the latter staying pretty close to 460 KPS since midnight. Likewise, the KP Index has stayed mainly in the KP-2 to KP-3 range, all green, all good. The Electron count did peek above the SWPC alert threshold briefly yesterday, but it has backed down into the high-normal range. A couple of new coronal holes seem to be developing in the Southern hemisphere, one at 20° and another one about 36 hours behind it at 40°. And, of course, the coronal hole at the South pole is still active and a portion is "growing" Northward, so we'll be keeping an eye on all of that. Only a pair of notable temblors yesterday, a Mag 5.1 and 5.0, both off the Chilean coast.
