SPACE - S0 - 20200321 - Comet ATLAS Coming, Plasma Universe, Interference

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Looks like that coronal hole activity arrived as predicted around 0100 EDT, bumping the solar wind speed from a low of 390 KPS to a high in the 500-520 KPS range. The KP Index remains good, in the KP-2 to KP-3 range, so it's doubtful we'll see a spike into the minor storm range. A small coronal hole developed at the equator right before crossing the meridian, and another one popped in at the Southern mid-latitudes, but the polar coronal hole still dominates. The Northern bright spot appears to have had an intra-atmospheric expulsion, but it does not appear to have created any sort of flare or ejection. A few more bright spots are popping in and out of existence. The lithosphere seems to have calmed down a bit from yesterday's somewhat frenetic pace, with a Mag 5.2 South of Africa, a rather firm Mag 5.7 just South of Paramythia Greece, a Mag 5.0 near Indian Hills Nevada, and another Mag 5.0 about 24 miles from Domoni, Comoros (have any of you heard of Comoros before? Me neither...).
