Good Morning, 0bservers!
Solar winds have been on a bit of a roller coaster ride, but more like a low-budget carnival ride than those ones you find in Sandusky Ohio. Yesterday's peak of over 520 KPS dropped down to around 400 KPS, and then went back up to around 470 KPS at present. Ain't gonna lose your lunch on THIS ride, that's for sure. The KP Index remains green, with KP-1s, 2s and 3s. A new bright spot grew just North of the Equator, and crossed the midpoint a short while ago, but it doesn't look too nasty. The lithosphere was a bit less rumbly yesterday, with a deep Mag 5.0 off Micronesia, another Mag 5.0 in New Guinea, a pair of Mag 5.1s just off Indonesia, and a rather damaging Mag 5.4 in Croatia.
