Good Morning, 0bservers!

Looks like we got a continuation of the Phi-Angle flip, causing a bump in the solar wind speeds around midday yesterday. Dropped to a low of 305 KPS, spiked to nearly 400 KPS in an 8 hour period, then back down to 315 KPS, and up to a current 385 KPS. That said, the KP Index stayed well in the safe zone, only rising to KP-2 at the higher speeds and dropping to KP-0 at the lowest. A new coronal hole tendril (rather a large one) is moving up from the South Pole to the mid latitudes and is about to cross the centerline, as well as a new hole crossing at the equator, so expect a bump from that around Tuesday or so. A couple of new bright spots have arisen from the surface, heading toward the meridian also in the next couple of days, so we'll keep an eye on that. Had a few temblors of note yesterday, a Mag 5.2 near Costa Rica, a Mag 5.5 next to Alberto Oviedo Mota, Mexico, and another Mag 5.5 off Vanuatu.

For those who missed it yesterday, Ben Davidson's wife Kat (co-owners of Suspicious0bservers) FINALLY gave birth to their third child, a son, yesterday in the early morning hours. She was overdue by nearly three weeks, but she and little Adam are doing well.
