SPACE - S0 - 20200815 - Solar Flare, Space Plasma, Polar Evidence

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Solar winds remain pretty much flat, hovering around the 300 KPS range. Temperature is unchanged, and particle density had a slight jump when the Phi-Angle took a slight shift from 180° to 90° polarity around 0200, but there were no other negative effects. Well, except maybe for that jump in the X-Ray Flux up to Class C Flare levels. That said, I didn't see any major flares coming from the bright spots on the surface, nor from the lim. The KP-Index has returned to the floor levels after (finally) popping up briefly to KP-2 for a single reading yesterday morning. Looks like we're going to have to keep an eye on that. Coronal holes dominate the North Pole, but the South is where the polar holes are extending toward the lower latitudes. Also seeing some coronal holes up closer to the equator, so we'll see if they have enough oomph (a purely scientific term) to up the solar breeze. Had a few notable temblors with a Mag 5.0 off Indonesia, another Mag 5.0 in Peru, a third Mag 5.0 (Quakes 'R Us must've had a sale) off Papua New Guinea, and an impressive Mag 5.7 in the Easter Island region.
