SPACE - S0 - 20200821 - Nova by Dust, Magnetic River, Deep Quake
Good Morning, 0bservers!
Only a slight change to the solar wind speed, and the change was lower. It's staying pretty much in the 300-310 KPS range at the moment, with stable temperatures and density. The Phi Angle shifted around midnight, but it didn't seem to have negative effects on the KP-Index, which stayed pretty much on the deck all of yesterday. Mostly KP-1s, with a couple KP-0s in the middle of the chart. The X-Ray Flux had another spike into Class B range. That spike was caused by a surge from one of the new bright spots that just came in from the South. The equatorial coronal holes are pretty much passed the midpoint right now, but the hole at the North pole is extending down toward the lower latitudes and should cross central heliographic longitude in the next 24 hours. By the bye, we didn't see much of any effect from that CME earlier in the week. There was almost no quake activity since yesterday's report, with only a Mag 5.0 about 50 miles South of False Pass Alaska.
