SPACE - S0 - 20200812 - Unidentified Comet, Mystery Ring, Radio Spiral

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Looks like we had a cosmic ray burst hit the detectors just before midnight, and it buggered up the readings on the DSCOVR charts, causing a data dropout for a couple of hours. However, it doesn't seem to have missed much, as solar wind speeds have remained around the 300 KPS range. Not too much variation on particle density or temperature. The cosmic ray isn't much of a surprise considering we were 50/50 on the split between KP-1 and KP-0 readings. We also had a rise in the X-Ray Flux, spiking into the Class B range a couple of times, most likely due to the activity from the bright spot that crossed the Southeast lim a day or two ago. Also seeing a couple of coronal holes riding along the equator, so we might be seeing some effect from that a few days from now. Saw a bit more quake activity, with a Mag 5.1 in the Kermadec Islands region, a Mag 5.0 about 180 Miles SSW of 'Ohonua Tonga, and several blot echos to round out the list.
