SPACE - S0 - 20210316 - The Lost Ice Core, Bombshell Greenland Discovery

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Sorry for the absence, folks, when I'm On-Call at work I barely have time to go boo, let alone do solar reports. Pulled 80+ hours, with over 20 of those on the weekend. And I'm scheduled for this every six weeks...

Solar wind speeds continue to slow down from the Saturday Night Surge, with a steady trend to our current 400-420 KPS range. Particle Density and Temperature are also looking good with steady to slightly lower levels, and the Phi Angle is stable. We're well out of Sunday's minor geomagnetic storm activity with green all across the KP-Index. The Magnetometer and Proton Flux readings are nominal, but we did see the Electron Flux breach the alert threshold again. The X-Ray Flux chart shows steady, with no spikes or flares since that mid-Class B reading from late morning yesterday. Seeing some strong development and extension of the Southern polar coronal hole, with the leading edge passing the midpoint today, and the trailing Northward tendril about 36 hours behind that. The major Northern sunspot group is just now crossing central heliographic longitude, and I'm seeing some potential spots crossing the Eastern lim with some pretty good activity and prominences showing up at 304Å. The angle is bad, but the Magnetogram does show magnetic complexity for the incoming group.
