SPACE - S0 - 20210612 - The Termination Event, Data Down, Weirdest News Day

Good Morning, 0bservers!

It was another calm day on the Sun for the most part. Solar wind speeds dropped to 320 KPS around 1400 UTC, but it did bump up to 360 KPS at 0630 UTC. Not exactly "brisk". Particle Density did have a steady rise, but it was a slight one. The Phi Angle stabilized around noon UTC, but the Bt/Bz gaps were very wide, and then narrowed, and then widened yet again. A lot of polarity movement there. We did see a minor geomagnetic storm (KP-4) but that dropped immediately afterward. The Magnetometer has remained in a sine wave pattern but it did drop below 60 nT for the second day in a row. Proton Flux and Electron Flux charts remain nominal. We're good on the X-Ray Flux chart as well, mostly calm with a few bumps here and there still well below mid-Class B, and the background radiation level finally dropping to below the Class B line into upper-Class A. None of the video loops are working this morning (sorry, folks) but the bulk of the coronal hole from yesterday should be getting to the midpoint. Apparently much of the video loop information is unavailable because NASA is doing server maintenance for the next two days. Which kinda sucks.

Another new video from Suspicious0bservers, "Impactor Cycle | Advanced Catastrophism".

  Enjoy!
