Good Morning, 0bservers!
Solar wind speeds stayed in a generally calm range (340-410 KPS) all through yesterday and this morning, but there was a lot of activity in that range. Looks like it was driven by a lot of Phi Angle shifts and variations. Particle Density did see a rise around 1400 UTC but there was no significant change in wind speed because of it. We did see a rise in Temperature starting around 2200 UTC, though, but it was not a sharp one. The KP-Index remained in the green again, mostly in the KP-1/KP-2 range (although we did have a single KP-3 kick in in the early afternoon). The Magnetometer decided to go a bit high again, hitting 120 nanoTeslas for the third time in a week, but the low didn't hit the alert threshold. Proton Flux levels were nominal, but the Electron Flux did breach the alert threshold briefly yesterday afternoon before returning to normal. X-Ray Flux was pretty calm until around 1000UTC when it had a minor flare which hopped to the upper quarter of Class A. It was followed by a second (and much weaker) spike about 30 minutes later. The new bright spots have turned in from the lim and can now be seen in the South, but the Magnetogram only shows one of them having any sort of magnetic underpinning, and even that's a very weak one. Still, it's worth keeping an eye on. No new coronal hole development seen on the loops either.
