Good Morning, 0bservers!
Solar winds spent most of yesterday calming down from their peak of 435 KPS, settling down to the 360-370 KPS range for most of this morning until a sudden jump to just over 400 KPS around 1000 UTC. Particle Density and Temperature pretty much stayed unchanged all through yesterday and this morning. The Phi Angle was mostly stable, but it did begin a change that mirrored the timing of the uptick in wind speed. KP-Index readings have also calmed to the KP-1/KP-2 levels, after a couple of days of KP-3s. Magnetometer readings are nominal, without the higher spikes of the previous days. Electron and Proton Flux readings are also nominal. The X-Ray Flux chart does show a small spike around 0600 UTC, but it didn't quite reach Class B flare levels, and the overall background radiation is slightly lower than the previous report. The video loops are showing that smaller Southern coronal hole is passing the midpoint now. And just at the end of the loop, you can just make out three small bright spots approaching the Eastern lim. They're not yet at an angle where the Magnetogram can discern any disturbance or surface magnetics, however.
