The DJFI suite acquires, generates and communicates target information, thus facilitating accurate and quick firing by weapons systems. The solution powered by artificial intelligence will interface with the radio communication systems of the British Army, Royal Air Force and Royal Marines, Elbit said.
The solution integrates several of Elbit's technologies including the TORCH-X battle management application, the HattoriX fire support system, the CORAL multi-spectral electro-optical system, and the Rattler XR long-range laser designator. The DJFI will enable fast and secure transmission of target information across the British Armed Forces, allowing swift and accurate utilization of artillery and close air support, according to Elbit.
