SPACE - S0 - 20210114 - Cold Future Confirmed, Earth is Surrounded, Gamma Burst

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Solar winds continued moving back down from yesterday's brief spike around 490 KPS, currently in the 360-380 KPS range. And while Temperature readings were going down, the Particle Density actually started a very gradual rise. That may be due to the rather jittery Phi Angle, but even that has not had a strong effect on the KP-Index. It went down starting Tuesday and the entirety of yesterday was all KP-1 readings, which shifted to KP-0 after midnight UTC. Nominal readings on the Magnetometer, Electron Flux and Proton Flux. There was a noticeable spike on the X-Ray Flux early yesterday afternoon, up to about the midpoint of Class A flares, but other than that the background readings have remained low. The Southern coronal hole is passing central heliographic longitude right now, with a large tendril reaching the mid-latitudes. The coronal hole system to the North is also extending downward to the mid-latitudes, and should pass the center in about 48 hours or so. Seeing a new bright spot just coming in from the lim, just North of the equator.
