Good Morning, 0bservers!
Solar winds continued to calm, dropping to a low of 290 KPS overnight before a slight rise back to the 300-310 KPS range. Particle Density and Temperature remained steady except for an unusual thermal spike around 0900 UTC. The Phi Angle spent most of its day slowly progressing around the dial from 0° to 360° with no apparent negative issues. KP-Index readings remained low, in the KP-0 to KP-1 range. Proton/Electron Flux charts were nominal, but the Magnetometer had some odd readings (blocks of red lines down to the bottom of the page) despite its sine-wave structure remaining within the normal range. The X-Ray Flux was a bit steadier after midnight UTC, and it also showed the same drops as the Magnetometer (a fault on the GOES, perhaps). The video loops show that the coronal tendril reaching up from the South pole never connected to the one near the equator, so we dodged a bit of a bullet there. The Magnetogram readings are still showing Beta-Delta complexity on the main sunspot group in the South as it approaches the midpoint, and the new glow in the Northeast lim still isn't close enough to see what's underneath - hopefully by tomorrow we'll have some idea.
