SPACE - S0 - 20200213 - Major Earthquake, Solar Forcing: Dominates

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Yesterday's solar winds peaked at around 430 KPS, and has taken a slow slide down to a current 340 KPS. The KP Index is equally quiescent, mainly KP-1s and KP-0s. That second coronal hole just South of the equator is marching across the midpoint as we speak, and a smattering of unremarkable bright spots don't seem to do much more than look pretty. There were a pair of Mag 5.0 temblors for Peru and Chile, a Mag 5.2 off New Guinea, and some pretty hefty blot echo activity off Kuril'sk Russia (three Mag 7.0s and a Mag 6.9) all in the span of 20 minutes. That spot is along the Russia/Japan sea border.
