Good Morning, 0bservers!

Solar wind speeds stayed pretty steady yesterday until they ramped up in the evening, hitting a peak of around 390 KPS before coming right back down to a current speed of 330 KPS. Before that happened, though, the KP Index jumped up after yesterday's zero-day alert to KP-2 and KP-3 before going back down to KP-1 (and latest report is back down to KP-0, so, there's that...). A new coronal hole is developing from the South pole, with more disorganized holes coming up above and below the equator. The lithosphere was a bit busier than yesterday, starting with a Mag 5.7 in Taiwan with Mag 5.2 and Mag 5.1 aftershocks, and a pair of temblors in Indonesia, first a Mag 5.4 and then a stronger Mag 5.6 a few hours later.
