SPACE - S0 - 20200226 - Earth Energy Balance, Cosmology Crisis, Nova Studies

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Solar winds continued to trail off most of yesterday, with a drop from 400 KPS to under 320 KPS before midnight UTC. It's been bumping up and down in the 320-340 KPS range since then. As expected, the KP Index is pretty much on the deck, mostly KP-0s with some KP-1s, so keep your eyes peeled for a possible Zero Day event if this continues. Some disorganized coronal holes in the Southern hemisphere crossed the midpoint, but I doubt there'll be much significant effect from it. We're probably far more likely to see the hole at the South pole giving us a bit of a breeze when we're at the Southern-most portion of our orbit in the next week or so.  An uptick in temblors (as opposed to blot echo activity) -- a Mag 5.1 near Taiwan, a deeper (46KM) Mag 5.2 off the Solomon Islands, a Mag 5.0 in Turkey and another Mag 5.0 off the Philippines, and a notable Mag 5.9 blot echo just north if Indonesia.
