SPACE - S0 - 20200214 - Coronal Hole, Harvard/Yale in Trouble, Arrokoth
Good Morning, 0bservers!
Solar winds remain calm at around 340 KPS, same as yesterday's report. There has been a very slight rise in particle density overnight, which usually precedes an increase in solar wind speeds due to coronal hole activity, but I'm not sure if it's the leading edge of those holes passing the midpoint earlier in the week. The KP Index remains in the green zone, with mostly KP-0s and KP-1s, but we had a pair of KP-2s reported before and after midnight UTC. Only two quakes of note yesterday, with the rest being low to moderate blot echoes -- a Mag 5.0 off Alaska, and a Mag 5.1 East of the South Sandwich Islands.
