Good Morning, 0bservers!
A calmer day on the Sun than the previous report, which, let's face it, wasn't all that busy to start with. The previous coronal hole streams have petered out (yes, that's a scientific term) from a peak of 520 KPS around midday UTC to a low of 400 KPS around 0430 UTC, with a current speed range of 410-430 KPS. Particle Density and Temperature remain steady and low. Phi Angle readings stayed mostly near 180° but there was a brief jump to 0° around 0100 UTC before returning. Electron Flux / Proton Flux / Magnetometer readings are all nominal. X-Ray Flux readings were also generally calm and steady, at least until noon UTC. The showed little bumps and jumps in the lower third of the Class A flare range, but that took a major leap to the upper quarter of Class B. The leading edge of that large coronal hole system in the South should be turning into the midpoint of the disc later today/tonight, and will probably spend all of tomorrow crossing it. The new sunspot group in the South doesn't appear to have grown since yesterday, and the Magnetogram is still showing what appears to be an Alpha level of magnetic complexity.
