SPACE - S0 - 20210211 - The Solar Magnetic Shift Begins, Missing Matter, Mars

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Solar winds slowed further from yesterday's high of 450 KPS at 1000 UTC, to around 320 KPS just after midnight, with the current speed in the 330-350 KPS range. Temperature also fell, but oddly enough the Particle Density rose significantly after spending most of yesterday going down. Phi Angle readings were mostly steady despite a couple anomalous jumps at 0200 and 1000 UTC, but it started scrambling up again around 0600 UTC today. The KP-Index looks pretty good, with KP-0s and KP-1s predominating yesterday, and a KP-2 popping up early this morning as well. All Nominal on the Proton Flux, Electron Flux and Magnetometer fronts. The X-Ray flux also looks pretty quiet after yesterday's spike, with all readings in the lower quarter of the Class A flare chart. The sunspot behind the coronal hole seems to be biding its time, whereas the hole itself is now crossing central heliographic longitude. From its size, it'll probably spend most of today continuing to pass, which means we should feel the effects of it starting around Sunday.
