SPACE - S0 - 20201011 - Solar Forcing, Magnetic Helicity, Flood

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Solar winds remained in the calm region, staying steady around 290-310 KPS. Temperatures are also steady, but there was a steady rise in particle density all day and night. We were able to avoid a fully-blow Zero Day Alert yesterday with some KP-1 readings kicking in occasionally. There might be a sporadic Cosmic Ray crashing into the atmosphere, but not a strong threat. Electron Flux counts went over the threshold briefly (and barely) for a short time yesterday, and the X-Ray Flux is still in the low-to-mid Class A flare range. The bright spots in the Southern hemisphere are still showing up on the Magnetogram images, but the one approaching the midpoint definitely has underlying magnetic complexity, so we need to keep our eyes peeled on that one. The new bright spots glowing along the Eastern lim should be starting their appearance on the Earth-facing surface in the next 24-36 hours, so we'll be able to see if they have any nasty surprised hidden below. Very little in the way of coronal hole development. Only two quakes of note yesterday, but one of 'em was a strong Mag 6.0 in the Easter Island Region, the other a Mag 5.0 in the South Shetland Islands.
