SPACE - S0 - 20201014 - Flood, Plasma, Darwin's Failure Hints at Ice Age
Good Morning, 0bservers!
Solar wind speeds stayed pretty calm, in the 275-315 KPS range, but there was a lot more rapid variability for a while after midnight. Particle Density went down a bit, while the temperature remained relatively stable. The Phi Angle was mostly steady, and the KP-Index remained quite low, mostly KP-1 readings. The Electron Flux has remained below the threshold for days now, but there was a spike into the Class B flare range, calming back down to high Class A and then spiking again into B. The additional radiation seems to be coming from a new bright spot group just crossing the Eastern lim near the equator. I'm seeing some potential sunspots on that new bright region, but it's not far enough in to determine magnetic complexity. No new coronal hole development on the surface. No new quakes since yesterday, and only a handful of blot echoes.
