Good Morning, 0bservers!
Looks like we're finally getting that coronal hole stream. The particle density in the early evening, and that was immediately followed by a mild rise in solar wind speeds. The low yesterday was 300 KPS and we're now all the way up to 370 KPS - in other words, this is a pretty mild coronal stream. We also saw a small increase in temperature, and there was a minor Phi Angle shift a couple hours after the rise began, but no other negative effects were seen from it. The shift in weather brought a pretty rapid rise in the KP-Index, with a KP-2 in midday (bracketed by two KP-0 readings either side), and we're up to KP-3 after midnight UTC. That'll blow the cosmic rays away for sure. The GOES Magnetometer took a bit of a dive after the coronal stream hit, dropping below 40 nanoTeslas at one point before spiking back up. The Electron Flux was normal, and the X-Ray Flux rose back up to the high Class A Flare range, with a few small spikes into Class B. We did have a pretty heavy surge into the middle of Class B just before publishing this report, but I couldn't see anything on the videos. The coronal hole near the North polar region passed the midpoint, and the sunspots only showed very minor sparking and surging.
