The Greek website Defencepoint.gr reported that Israeli company Emtan, a manufacturer of small arms, is participating in a tender for the supply of light weapons to the Greek army. According to the report, which is based on sources in the Greek Army, the company is offering the 9 mm "Ramon" pistol and the 5.56 mm MZ-4 assault rifle. The report says Emtan is the second Israeli company competing for the tender. It is estimated that the other Israeli company is Israel Weapons Industries (IWI).
