SPACE - S0 - 20201117 - Cosmic Energy, Climate Control, Core to Volcano
Good Morning, 0bservers!
Solar wind speeds remained low throughout yesterday, and dipped just a bit lower after midnight UTC. The speed rode the 300 KPS line, plus or minus 20 KPS, and the current speed is showing around 310 KPS. Temperatures remain steady to slightly lower, but we did see a small rise in particle density around 1800 UTC. Looks like the latter was caused by a Phi Angle shift. I believe we're still in the Cosmic Ray Health alert, since yesterday was dominated by KP-0 readings with only two KP-1 readings. The magnetometer chart is cycling normally, the Electron Flux is below the threshold, and the X-Ray Flux has actually dropped back into the Class A flare range, with only a small blip in the B range yesterday afternoon. The Solar videos show the Southern sunspot group passing the midpoint, and with no sparks or surges apparent.
