SPACE - S0 - 20201115 - Electric Mantle, Arctic Changes, NAO Control

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Not sure if we have detector errors again, folks. Solar wind speeds reduced from 350 KPS midnight yesterday to 300 KPS midnight today, but for some unknown reason the speed suddenly spiked to 450 KPS for a couple hours, before immediately dropping back to 300 KPS. Same weird readings for the Temperature, but not so much for the Particle Density (which is still in the high normal range). That speed boost may have been real, because the KP-Index did move up a bit from all the KP-1 readings to a few KP-2s around midnight. Most of the other detectors are in the calm range as well, most especially the X-Ray Flux was at the bottom of the Class B flare range. Another new bright spot is rolling in at the Southeast lim, but the current sunspot groups are thankfully quiet. The polar coronal holes have grown a bit but not so much as to be a risk - at least not yet.
