SPACE - S0 - 20201112 - Nova Evidence Found x2, Solar Eruption, Land Motion
Good Morning, 0bservers!
Let's start with the good news - we should be out of the effects of the Zero Day / Cosmic Ray Alert situation by early afternoon today (Eastern time). Remember, it takes 24 hours or so from the "break" in the Zero Day readings for the negative issues begin to wane. Now, the not so good news - the damn detectors had a ton of data dropouts, with wide gaps in readings. When they came back, we did see a rise in solar wind speeds, spiking as high as 420 KPS around 1000 UTC, calming back into the 380-400 KPS range. Temps and Density also increased, and the Phi Angle is a bit scrambled. The Electron Flux breached the threshold for the first time in several days, but dropped back below it before the readings started to destabilize. The Magnetometer readings also had a surge to about 130 nanoTeslas, and the X-Ray Flux chart recorded three spikes into the Class C flare range. They seem to have come from the new Southern sunspot group just turning in on the Earth-facing disc, and the videos show a pretty strong CME burst (but not facing toward our planet).
