SPACE - S0 - 20201113 - The New Green Fail, Solar Micronova

Good Morning, 0bservers!

The detectors went wonky (yes, that IS a scientific term) again yesterday, so all we know is that on late Wednesday night the solar wind speed was around 320 KPS, and then magically on Thursday night it jumped to 400 KPS and kept going up. It peaked at around 440 KPS after midnight UTC, but has since calmed to 400 KPS. Temperature and Particle Density appear to be steady and within the low-normal range for them. KP-Index readings are green, in the low-normal range almost all day yesterday with only a sporadic KP-0. Electron Flux readings remain below the threshold, and the X-Ray Flux calmed down with no spikes, lowering to the bottom of the Class B flare range. The video loops of the solar surface showed a calmer face than we'd seen in the past few days.
