SPACE - S0 - 20210519 - Nearby Stars Activated, Tesla Invention, Solar Watch

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Looks like that expected CME/Coronal Hole impact was more like a damp squib, but Ben is saying it should arrive today. We really didn't have any issues with solar winds, they actually went down for most of yesterday after the early morning peak of 410 KPS, dropping to about 360 KPS by midnight UTC. It went up again to 380 KPS around 0700 UTC and is now in the 350-370 KPS range. Particle Density is mostly steady, Temperatures dropped through yesterday but have gone back up again to previous levels (no issue there). The Phi Angle is mostly steady, and there are no major variations in the Bt/Bz readings either. After that one KP-4 at 0600 UTC yesterday, everything has been in the green zone, mostly KP-1s and KP-2s throughout the period. The Magnetometer is nominal, as are the Proton Flux and Electron Flux charts. X-Ray Flux background radiation levels remain just on the top of Class A, and there was only one minor Class B flare through the period. There was only one minor "pop" from the new sunspot group in the Northeast, and we seem to have a small coronal hole developing, also Northeast. The Southern coronal holes are now past the midpoint, we should be seeing something from them in the next 18-36 hours.
