Solar winds remain calm in the 280-310 KPS range, currently sitting at 300 KPS. Density and temperature remain mostly steady, only slight perturbations, and the solar magnetic field is fluctuating but without negative effect. The KP-Index was pretty low, almost all KP-1s, with a KP-0 a few hours before midnight, but a quick jump to KP-2 a couple hours ago to blow away the cosmic ray cobwebs. One equatorial coronal hole finally consolidated just as it passed the midpoint, we should see something from that in the next 72 hours, but it's doubtful that it will reach "storm" levels. And it looks like we've got a significant active region of bright spots/sunspots coming in from the upper Northeast lim, should see more details by tomorrow. Only six blot echo quakes yesterday, all at or below Mag 4.8. At least, until right before the video above was published, when there was a shallow Mag 6.4, 35 miles WNW of Tonopah, Nevada. A pair of Mag 5.4 aftershocks struck afterward, very near the surface.
