SPACE - S0 - 20200518 - Earthquakes, Cosmic Ray Health, Climate Forcing

Good Morning, 0bservers!

Virtually no change in the solar wind speeds, which continued to remain in the 285-320 KPS range (currently around 300 KPS). Density and Temperature are likewise steady. The KP-Index is still on the floor, almost all KP-1s with a few KP-0s to boot, and a Cosmic Ray Health Alert was issued a short while ago. The bright spots, North and South, have shown no risky behavior, but there was a bodacious solar prominence at the Southern lim just behind that bright spot. It extended out massively, but it did not "snap" - instead, it looped back. Amazing to see at 304Å. A bit more lithospheric activity since yesterday's report, all of it in the oceans and not on land. A Mag 5.1 about 35 miles off the coast of Ishinomaki Japan, a Mag 5.3 55 miles South of Ierapetra Greece, and a pair of temblors (Mag 5.3 and 5.5) 175 miles off the California coast.
