SPACE - S0 - 20200531 - Galactic Trigger, Climate Fails, Storm Alert

Good Morning, 0bservers!

The coronal hole stream from yesterday continues, with a second particle density increase bumping up the solar wind speeds to nearly 430 KPS in mid-afternoon. It has since calmed a bit to the 380-400 KPS range. The increase in particles brought our KP-Index up to mostly KP-3 readings, although that seems to be going back down to KP-2 and KP-1 levels just after midnight. X-Ray Flux is showing no new spikes, and the background levels are showing just above and below Class-A. The Northern bright spot has had no new snaps, crackles, nor pops, and the one in the South seems to be weakening and dimming, never having shown any underlying magnetic complexity or spots. The lithosphere was a bit less rumbly in its tumbly, with a Mag 5.5 about 120 miles SE of Sarangani Philippines, a Mag 5.3 over 700 miles North of Brazil (about a third of the way between South America and Africa), and a Mag 6.0 blot echo in the middle of Peru (nearly a hundred miles deep).

And, I must sadly report that violence has come to Fort Wayne, but we're unsure if it is directly related to the George Floyd situation. Fort Wayne Police were forced to lob a a couple teargas canisters last night, but I'm sure that was to quell a coordinated attack from Amish drive-by corn-shuckers (clip-clop-clip-clop-clip-clop... *SHUCK! SHUCK!* clip-clop-clip-clop-clip-clop...).

The horror! The horrrrrrorrrrr...
