SPACE - S0 - 20200519 - Gulf Risk, New Gamma Sources, Cosmic Imagination

Good Morning, 0bservers!

We finally saw a rise in solar wind speed, albeit marginal, from a low of 285 KPS to a high of 370 KPS (still within the low-to-moderate range). This may be a combination of a weak coronal hole stream plus a sharp Phi Angle shift. That said, density only rose slightly, and the temperature barely crept up, so there was little effect on the KP-Index, with only two bumps into the KP-2 range in the last 48 hours (including the latest reading), so keep an eye peeled on those Cosmic Ray Health Alerts. Saw a couple of very small A-Class spikes in the X-Ray Flux yesterday, possibly due to two small "snaps" from the Northern bright spot. They weren't flares or ejections, just rapid magnetic activity. Ierapetra Greece got a stronger repeat of yesterday's quake, this one a Mag 5.8, along with a Mag 5.2 in China, a Mag 5.1 and Mag 5.3 in different areas of Japan, and a Mag 5.0 in Columbia.

Another new video from Suspicious0bservers, "Climate Science | To Dr. Roy Spencer".

Enjoy!
